CAMNATS SPRING MEETING

You can also bring your own sandwich/meal if you wish but it must not need to be refrigerated.
Please see Susan on your arrival to pay for the meal.
Coffee and refreshments will be available for the am hours before lunch.
Membership sponsorship – Please remember, if you are sponsoring someone and this is their 3rd meeting, you must now write up a short bio on them to present at the meeting to have them voted in and they must be prepared to pay the dues for the year at that time. Below is what is in our bylaws:
Proposal for Membership: Formal proposals for membership shall be made in writing and shall contain a résumé of the nature photography or natural history expertise of the proposed person(s), together with any other relevant information. A candidate may be proposed for membership at their third meeting if the requirement for showing their images (3 sessions) has been met.
The proposal shall be signed by at least two (2) members in good standing (dues current) and shall be submitted to the Chairperson before the meeting at which the sponsoring members wish to have the candidate presented for membership (online signatures are accepted). The nomination will be read for consideration of the members present at the meeting. So long as a quorum is present at the meeting, a majority vote of the membership in the affirmative shall be sufficient for the nominee to be accepted into formal membership. Please contact Shawn Carey -President@masscamnats.org- with any names that will be showing for the third time and proposed for membership along with the resume or if you plan to bring a guest who will be showing images.
For the Photo Share bring 7 images on a flash drive.

Contact Shiv Verma in advance if you wish to show photos so we have an idea of how many people will be presenting.
If you wish to show a video contact Shiv Verma in advance. Please ensure that your video is no longer than 4 minutes, please. Videos must be just that: a video and not a slide show of photos converted to a video.
Size images up to 1920 x 1080 (1920 pixels wide)
*If you have images already sized 1400 pixels wide you can bring those. However, the maximum size and native resolution of the video projector we will be using is 1920 x 1080.
Name your images with your name followed by two digits, see examples below:

All prospective members must follow the same directions for submitting photos above. If anyone is bringing a new member let Shiv Verma know the name of who your guest will be.
